- is a volcanic crater lake located in the Grímsnes area in south Iceland, on the popular tourist
route known as the Golden Circle (less than an hour away)
- is a waterfall in Þingvellir National Park, Iceland. It flows from the river Öxará over the
Almannagjá. The pool at the base of the waterfall is filled with rocks and is often extremely icy during
winter (Very close, probably 15 minutes)
- (Thingvellir) is a historic site and national park in Iceland, east of Reykjavík. It's known for
the Alþing (Althing), the site of Iceland's parliament from the 10th to 18th centuries. On the site are the
Þingvellir Church and the ruins of old stone shelters. The park sits in a rift valley caused by the separation
of 2 tectonic plates, with rocky cliffs and fissures like the huge Almannagjá fault. (15-20 mins away)

(Reykjavík Day)
is a Lutheran parish church in Reykjavík, Iceland. At 73 metres high, it is the
largest church in Iceland and among the tallest structures in Iceland. (40 mins or so)

is a waterfall located in the canyon of the Hvítá river in southwest Iceland. Gullfoss
is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Iceland. (20-30 mins away)
The Blue Lagoon​
geothermal spa is one of the most visited attractions in Iceland. The spa is
located in a lava field in Grindavík on the Reykjanes Peninsula, southwestern Iceland (90 mins away,
more of a day trip)
